Apart from my first passion of wedding photography I also adore wildlife capture. Unfortunately I love the wilder more exotic animals not found in the UK except for ZOOs. Lucky for me both Belfast and Dublin Zoo's allow me to get close to the animals to get shot's I would not otherwise get without going to hotter climates.

Belfast Zoo has currently got these adoreable Lemurs that run wild over the Zoo and also the birth of 3 new lion cubs in the past year.

My favourites tend to be the Gorillias and Monkeys (probably as my wife says I am related) Difficult to photograph well in this climate as they prefer to stay inside behind the thick glass.

I spent a fantastic day at Dublin Zoo the last time I was there and got beautiful shots of the leopard staring me out and snow leopards play fighting. They looked and behaved just like our two cats at home.
